Climate Starts With Me is a community-centered storytelling campaign of Cleveland Climate Week highlighting the everyday ways people across Cleveland and Northeast Ohio already contribute to climate action.
 

No one is starting from zero.

People are teaching, growing, repairing, organizing, creating, caring, building, conserving, learning, and solving problems in ways that strengthen their communities and the environment.

Every neighborhood, family, classroom, workplace, garden, block, organization, and community carries knowledge about what it means to care for people and place.

Each story offers a different pathway into environmental work. Some begin with education. Others begin with creativity, health, housing, food, infrastructure, culture, neighborhood care, business, or lived experience.
 

Together, they remind us that climate action is not one thing.

Your story may look completely different from someone else's.

That is the point.

A neighborhood concern, family tradition, career, classroom project, garden, piece of art, health experience, business decision, or community relationship can reveal how environmental action is already woven into everyday life.
